Canara Union has long been a cherished venue for classical music connoisseurs, hosting soulful events ranging from serene morning concerts on Makara Sankranti to acclaimed series like Sursagar. These gatherings feature distinguished vocalists and instrumentalists, offering members and guests an enriching cultural experience steeped in tradition and artistry.
Canara Union also showcases diverse art forms such as Yakshagana, bringing the vibrancy of our heritage to the stage. Religious and cultural traditions are honored through various events, fostering a deep sense of belonging and continuity within our community.
Annual Drama Competition
Our annual drama competitions have become a cherished tradition, helping discover and nurture the hidden talents of both youth and senior members. These events foster a strong sense of community while promoting cultural enrichment.
Naad Ninaad
One of our landmark achievements is the highly acclaimed production “Naad Ninaad,” a live stage adaptation of the ever-popular musical The Sound of Music.
This unique production featured original dialogues, lyrics, and live music, brought to life by our talented members. With eight successful shows performed in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Kolkata, Naan Ninaad showcased the artistic excellence of Canara Union on a national stage.
